LINDA DOW LLC operates DowPuls. We act as a controller for the account and website data you give us directly, and as a processor for communications data that our business customers route through the platform on behalf of their own end users.
2. Data we collect
We collect what you provide during signup and use, such as your name, company details, email address, phone number, password, and consent choices, recorded with a version identifier including the date consent was given. Operating the platform also involves processing sender and recipient identifiers, message routing metadata, delivery timestamps and status, call detail records, message content where needed to transmit SMS, RCS, WhatsApp, or voice traffic, device and network information, API request logs, and security events.
3. How we use data
Personal data lets us open and secure accounts, route and deliver your communications, provide customer support, calculate and collect billing, detect fraud and abuse, satisfy carrier and regulatory obligations, keep the platform reliable, and improve our products. We only send you product updates, service notices, or promotional messages consistent with the consent you gave, and we honor STOP and other opt-out requests.
4. Legal bases
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on performing our contract with you, our legitimate interest in running and securing DowPuls, compliance with legal obligations, and your consent where it is the applicable basis. Business customers sending traffic through DowPuls are responsible for identifying a lawful basis and giving proper notice to their own recipients.
5. How data is shared
We disclose personal data only as needed, to telecom carriers and channel providers that deliver your messages and calls, hosting and infrastructure vendors, payment processors, customer-support tooling, professional advisers, and government authorities when legally compelled. We do not sell personal data, and every provider we use is contractually required to protect it and use it only for the service it supports.
6. International processing
Because recipients, carriers, and the infrastructure that supports SMS, RCS, WhatsApp, and voice delivery span many countries, personal data connected to your messages may be processed outside your home country. Where required, we put contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards in place before data crosses borders.
7. Retention
Account, billing, consent, security, and communications records are kept only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, our contractual obligations, dispute handling, fraud prevention, and applicable legal retention rules. How long varies by data type, service, and jurisdiction, and we delete or anonymize data once it is no longer needed.
8. Security
We protect personal data with access controls, encryption, activity logging, monitoring, and secure credential storage designed to detect and limit misuse. No platform can be guaranteed completely secure, so customers must also protect their own credentials, API keys, applications, and recipient data.
9. Cookies and account sessions
The DowPuls website uses essential cookies to keep your account session secure and to remember settings needed for the service to function. We do not rely on advertising cookies for account creation or use. You can block cookies in your browser, but doing so may prevent core account features from working.
10. Your choices and rights
Subject to your location, you may be entitled to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction on, or a copy of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time going forward. If you received a message from a DowPuls customer rather than from us directly, please contact that business first; we help our customers respond to valid requests from their recipients.
11. Children
DowPuls is built for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through direct account registration on our platform.
